The Q Hotel And Spa

The hotel is in a great KC location. The front desk was nice when we checked out early due to no maid service; the thermostat didn't work and the room was hot; and the curtain didn't cover the window. We loved the hotel. The outside of the hotel looked quaint and historic. You walk in, and it has a historic feel with a new, modern twist. We loved it. The staff was fabulous. Always helpful more so than any other hotel we have ever stayed at. It was our honeymoon, so we last minute upgraded our room, and they didn't make any complaints about us changing. They were just so great. Hot breakfast was great, and we got free drinks during happy hour at the hotel bar. Our room was a suite, so it was very spacious, with a jacuzzi tub, modern decor. THE BED WAS FANTASTIC!! We slept better than we do in our own bed! We went to a Royals game, too, and they shuttled us to that without charge! They were prompt there to pick us up as well. My first time there was way more enjoyable than this visit.

The staff was very accommodating and the hotel offered a shuttle to and from anywhere in the downtown/plaza area.

The hotel appears to have ben re-done. The colors and look are great. The staff was very friendly and it was quiet.
